We've teamed up with Ramblers Cymru this Time to Talk Day 2021. Why not arrange a Walk and Talk with a member of your household? A local lunch break walk can often help break up the day. Talking is important to reduce stigma around mental health problems. There are lots of ways you can have a conversation about mental health and getting out for a walk and talk is one of those ways. While we couldn't meet up for a walk in person, we called Brân, Engagement and Communications Manager, of Ramblers Cymru for a chat. Brân speaks about the benefits of walking in the outdoors and how walking can be a useful conversation starter. Listen to the conversation below. #TimeToTalk

“Mental health does not discriminate, so why should we?”

"There is stigma by the older generation and an attitude to just ‘get on with it’ – which may have delayed the time for me to seek help."

“I want to be a catalyst for change wherever I can”

“Being vulnerable and looking to learn something new to help your physical and mental wellbeing is a major strength. It’s difficult, which is why it can be scary. It’s so worth it, though!”
